The Pioneer Village, which is a part of the Cashmere Museum in Cashmere, Washington, consists of twenty cabins whose furnishing illustrate pioneer life. Cashmere’s history begins in 1863 when Father Respari, a Catholic missionary, built a one-room log mission. When the Great Northern Railroad route was planned through Mission, the town was platted, and the name changed to Cashmere.
The Section House includes several exhibits of railroad memorabilia, particularly the Great Northern Railroad memorabilia.
