Obermann raises the question: Who “owns” Donald Trump now, after recent meetings with Elon Musk and Jeff Yass? Either of these Billionaires could easily afford to cosign on Trump’s $90 Million Bond, allowing him to appeal his second loss in the E Jean Carrol defamation case.
Musk’s motive: more disinformation chaos, gone wild. (Sorry Tesla shareholders.)
Jeff Yass’ motive: well, he “owns a 15% stake in ByteDance” — the owner of TikTok. And conveniently (for Yass) Trump just did a complete 180 on his call to ban TikTok, yesterday on his Squawk Box call-in. In which, in addition to promising to cut Social Security, the fake billionaire, suddenly labeled Facebook “a true enemy of the people” — and so he now prefers TikTok instead.
Forget everything else he has said on the topic, MAGA-drones. Trump has bills to pay. Those always take priority, suckers.
How much is 15% of ByteDance worth anyways?
The TikTok parent company of ByteDance is worth somewhere between “$223 and $300 Billion dollars.” Therefore hedge fund investor and PAC-funding Jeff Yass’ 15% stake in the company works out to between 33 and 45 BILLION dollars.
Think the guy could drop a cool 1/10th of Billion on the Trump Bond payment, to protect his foreign investment — you be the judge.
Conveniently for Yass he was able to take a meeting in Mar-o-Lago on March 1st, under the guise of the Club for Growth. To discuss undisclosed ‘bizness.’
And even more conveniently, Trump is now saying stuff like this, in hopes of getting MAGA-Mike Johnson to STOP the TikTok ban Bill in its quid-pro-quo tracks:
“There are a lot of people on TikTok that love it. There are a lot of young kids on TikTok who will go crazy without it,” Trump said.

Oh the humanitarian!
At the rate Trump is flip-flopping, soon he will need to take-over the RNC or something, to keep funding all his phony frivolous appeals. Oh wait, never mind. Mission accomplished. Go figure.
What was it that P. T. Barnum {allegedly} said about gullible people, again? Kind of sounds like the Trump SOP, does it not? And the co-dependent GOP is only happy to oblige him.

Just asking the questions, like — Where did the faux billionaire come up with the big bucks anyways, just in the nick of time?
… Tick-Tock, people. Justice just keeps grinding away, despite all his shady delays.
