Spring is springing in Florida.
For those who don't know, I live in a converted campervan and travel around the country, posting photo diaries of places that I visit. I am currently wintering in Florida.
This field of wildflowers has appeared in the Largo Central Park Nature Preserve in St Pete FL. Last year this was just a patch of open land which the city had just cleared of debris. This year it is in full bloom. I’m not sure how they got here: as a nature preserve the county tries to keep the area as “natural” as possible, but these do not look like native Florida plants, so I do not know if they were planted intentionally or if they just happened to find their way here.
In any case, they make for some nice relaxing photos.
(I am plant-illiterate and don’t know what any of these are, so if anyone can identify any of them, that’d be great.)
