Here we go again!
This week, I decided to post a few Katy Perry songs.
Like the Gorillaz I posted last week, Katy Perry is an artist introduced to me by Tonia, my wife who died two years ago.
And, like the Gorillaz, I do not recall much, if any, Katy Perry songs showing up on the Billboard year end hot 100 lists.
Here is a link to the Katy Perry YouTube channel:

The videos go back 16 years.
Feel free to post more of her songs in the comments, or any other songs you want to post.
This one is from 15 years ago:
I like the way everyone in the church starts bouncing with the music.
Ha!
California Gurls:
So much nice candy!
Ha!
Teenage Dream:
Very sexy!
Wide Awake:
This one makes me cry, and cry hard.
So powerful.
Roar:
Similar to Wide Awake, seems to me.
A strong woman is a strong woman.
Tonia was a strong woman.
This Is How We Do:
I like so many things about this video.
So strong, in so many ways, and yet, matter-of-fact.
Ha!
Swish Swish, featuring Nicki Minaj:
Nice beat!
Fun, crazy sports drama.
Smile:
Seems like a nice song for pregnant women who are feeling a little of the baby blues.
And for all the rest of us who might be feeling a little of the blues, as I have felt so often in the last two years, since Tonia died.
Harleys in Hawaii:
Musically, that is so outstanding.
And the silly video is so much fun, as well!
Cry About It Later:
The lesson I get from this song and this video, is that young folks need to choose their partners wisely, carefully.
Plenty of fish in the sea, so do not settle for the first one that comes along.
Okay, here is my cousin, Paris Jane:
Okay, here is the link to the Katy Perry YouTube channel again:

Lots of videos to explore there.
Feel free to post any of them, or any other music video, in the comments.
Hugs!
