So we made it through another week, hurray! I have been busy with the lab and medical appointments, and Passover is right around the corner. I dislike Passover because it’s a source of a lot of anxiety for me, and it’s not based in reality. So I’m going to try a different kind of seder this year with a Renewal rabbi and her community.
On the social front I have branched out to watching a friend play video games on Discord, and I have an interview with the director of the museum my friend works at on Tuesday. It’s just part time, but it could be a lot of fun. But I will have to start wearing pants, which annoys me.
We got our knockout fish in the lab finally, they are TINY, I can barely see them in the water. A and I spent this morning changing their water and growth medium, and that is going to be a daily task for the team until they are big enough to go into a tank. I go back out on Sunday, and I might be getting a key soon, which will make my life a lot easier.
I have a doctor’s appointment on Monday, and my insurance and the pharmacy are not communicating over one of my meds, so I have to sort that out Sunday when I have some time. I need to get my second shingles vax too, just one more thing to do.
So what’s up in your world?
