Limbaugh's disgusting attack on Sandra Fluke has finally gotten some attention in the mainstream media and has begun to cost him some sponsorship - but the GOP still takes its marching orders from him. There is and should be discussion about Limbaugh's behavior.
The issue will be clouded in the usual tropes: Freedom of Speech, Feminazis, political correctness, liberal media bias, and probably the "I'm just an entertainer" excuse.
Let's call it what it is: radio porn for a largely male audience that gets off on beating up women, gays, brown people, and liberals in general. It's full of violent sado-masochistic imagery. When Limbaugh isn't getting angry and fantasizing about horrible things happening to his targets, and relishing their suffering, he's busy whining about how horribly he's being victimized (and all his listeners along with him.)
Limbaugh is a sick man feeding the fantasies of a sick audience. If he wants to do it in private, that's his right. To do it from a national media pulpit for big bucks is another thing entirely - and the people who finance it, use it to market their products, and the politicians who kiss his ... butt should be considered culpable.

2:36 PM PT: Caught Hannity on the way home, excusing what Limbaugh said as "Absurdity in response to the greater absurdity of Obama trashing the constitution" or words to that effect.
Shameless doesn't begin to describe these people.
