The Washington Times announced on Tuesday it has suspended Sen. Rand Paul's weekly columns after instances of plagiarism.
“We expect our columnists to submit original work and to properly attribute material, and we appreciate that the senator and his staff have taken responsibility for an oversight in one column,” Times Editor John Solomon said in the Washington Times.

In case anyone is unfamiliar with the Times, they are owned by the Unification Church (the "Moonies") and are far right. The Times did leave the possibility of Paul submitting a column in the future, but not a regular piece.

When you aren't ethical enough for the Washington Times ...
I think we can now assume that Rand Paul's reputation as a lightweight is now cemented in the Village. Andrew Kaczynski of Buzzfeed and Rachael Maddow have blown a hole in his reputation below the waterline, and the good ship Rand is going down.
This is a national service, for which they are to be commended.
