Potluck in Los Angeles on May 31st

Everyone likes a potluck. People are relaxed, you can take off your shoes and sit in the sun and you get to bring what you like to eat. My brother and SIL have kindly offered to let us use their house and backyard for this bacchanalia day.

We usually get together on Saturdays, but Otoelbc, my brother, SIL and I will be going to the U2 concert Saturday night, so this month it will be Sunday, May 31st at 2 p.m. Please sign up below or send me a PM. Also tell me what you'll be bringing to the potluck. I'll make a vegetarian main dish so everyone can have some.

However, there is one little problem and I need your help.

My family lives in the Valley (North Hills), and the L.A. Metro trains don't go any closer than North Hollywood. Metrolink goes to Van Nuys and Northridge, but it is much more expensive, i.e. the fare from DTLA to Van Nuys is $7.25. However, we will pick you up from Metrolink if you do travel that way.

We will also pick you up if you take the Orange Line, which is a busway. If you will be taking the train or that bus, please let us know so we can coodinate people taking the same bus/train for ease of pickup.

So, I'm thinking this location could work if the drivers among us could carpool with the non-drivers. I could pick up people who are on my way from Long Beach.
