Sekrit Life: Ch. 28: Summer’s End — Skool Daze.
As the summer starts to draw down, and school begins, the Furry and Feathers go about the first days of school.
RULES OF ENGAGEMENT —
- You know how this works, but as always, a gentle reminder:
- Pooties are cats; Woozles are dogs. Goggies are dogs, too, and moggies are cats. Birds...are birds! Peeps are people. PWB Peeps are Pooties, Woozle, Birds People. Neat, huh.
- No trolling the diary.
- If you hate pootie diaries, leave now. No harm, no foul.
- Share any and all pootie/woozle photos or issues that you would like .
- If you have health/behavior issues with your pootie or woozle, feel free to bring it to the community. We just may have someone whose experience can help.
- Whatever happens in the outer blog STAYS in the outer blog. This is a place to relax and play; please treat it accordingly.
- There are some pics we never post: snakes, spiders, creepy crawlies, any and all photos that depict or encourage human cruelty toward animals. These are considered “out of bounds” and will not be tolerated.
- There is no such thing as stealing a photo around here, but if you would like a pic from the comment threads, please ask the poster. He/she may have a copyright to those pics. Many thanks!
- It should not need to be said, but ANY/ALL photos that imply or encourage human violence against an animal will be considered verboten! Whether it is “comedic” or not.
Remembering the fun memories of eating melon at that awesum beach party.
Remembering the water, the sand, the sky and the friends at that amazing beach.
Remembering that strange hotel by that out-of-the-way beach, where the beds were unusual.
Remembering the fun, and peace of summertime.
Remembering the wonderful, off-the-trail hikes you took with your friends.
Getting ready to go back to school takes a shift in outlook.
Sleeping is good practice. Young brains need lots of rest.
Healthy eating is good practice. One must eat a good breakfast.
A healthy morning libation is good practice.
Eating a healthy breakfast is good practice.
Learning new things takes lots of energy.
Ride to school with new friends and old ones.
Ride to school with a family member.
Meet new friends at school. Some have the potential to be lots of fun.
Some will talk your head off even as they say “hi.”
Some will be very cool and very popular.
Some will be book nerds, shy around their lockers.
Some will be very geeky and see things differently.
Some will practice to be the teachers pet.
Be sure to tell your parents all about your days at school.
. . . !! And don’t be flummoxed by the art students…
