If you watched the T.V. then you should understand what I have to say for the next few moments, I will explain the continual battle between good and evil in an interesting way that you've likely never heard before.
Steve Stephens, is the children’s mental health worker is believed to have “snapped” after the break-down of his three-year relationship with his girlfriend, Joy Lane.
The now “Enraged and on the Run,” Killer Steve Stephens (pictured, above) filmed himself pointing and shooting his gun at the man who fell to the ground, with blood pouring from his face down onto the pavement.
In a series of Facebook Live posts, Stephens claimed he had killed a total of 15 people in what he called an “Easter day slaughter”.
He told someone over the phone that he “just snapped” and had a lot of “built-up anger and frustration”.
- First, when we are talking about the fight between good and evil, we are in effect speaking about God and Satan.
The shooting happened at 635 East 93rd Street, police said. The victim has been identified as Robert Godwin Sr., 74 of Cleveland, Ohio
Are we embracing worldly ideological extremes?
As a man of deep faith myself, a social justice activist and an Interfaith Christian Pastor, I found the steady support of and embracement of worldly ideological extremes including the “money chase,” (pictured, below) by conservative and liberal religious communities as shocking, bordering on morally repugnant.
How could those who claim to defend and spread the teachings of a beautiful, ethical light associate themselves with such darkness? Isn’t religion about humility and not arrogance? About defending the powerless and not blindly supporting the most powerful?
Indeed, the rampant proliferation of hate crime incidents and acts of violence directed toward minorities has finally revealed that all talk of a supposed post-racial America (a fanciful media concoction, at best) was for naught. It has been not only distressing but saddening, and our faith effort seems to be a total lie for most including me!
The lack of spiritual will that we see!
The lack of spiritual will is not limited to my friends and pundits in the Liberal Christian community. I must admit that, as a Christian Pastor I have felt a modicum of embarrassment by the actions of some of my colleagues in the faith who turned a blind-eye to the malingering ultra-nationalism that targeted other minority groups.
In the shocking video, which was recorded and then uploaded to the page, not streamed live, Stephens can be seen driving down the road and he says, “Found me somebody I’m going to kill, this guy right here, this old dude,” before exiting his vehicle. He walks up to the man and begins talking to him, asking how old he is before pulling out a gun.
The man tries to shield himself before Stephens fired once, hitting the man in the head.
The video shows the man on the ground, bleeding as Stephens walks back to his car and drives off.

- All of the evil that we see in society today comes from man's sin-nature and Satan's existence in the world. For the Devil to accomplish his goals in the world, he needs mankind to serve and worship him loyally. Due to man's sin-nature, and the love of money which is the root of all evil, it's never difficult for the Devil to convince people to SELL THEIR SOULS...
“We are the only Christ that the People see, Christ lives in us on the earth now, and we are ordinated, to do Christ work. We have a judiciary responsibility to the people. The problem is too many people in the faith leadership who carry titles but don't do the work.
At the end of the day, I say Jesus’s mission is now our obligation, and that we have to save people from their sins. We as leaders must be the example-This world is sinful but Romans 11:1-2 King James Version (KJV). I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid-says that is always in actions.
“Liberation,”-means we as leaders must fight against oppression, the people of faith by the thousands are still hungry we see oppression in drugs in the community, people losing housing which become abandoned drug holes, homelessness.
Our focus for the people of faith-every ministry should focus on community issues, community violence and winning our community back as faith leaders. We have got to get back the people aspect.
Opinion ,If the people were being attended to by “Good” Pastors-then community violence would not be what it is today.”
Joseph Pughsley, Field Director for Freedom First International (SCLC)
The Execution of Robert Godwin-Should be a wake-up for all as we know that we are living in a fallen world but it is so very important that we must now strive harder to emphasize our liberation from social, political, and economic oppression as an anticipation of ultimate salvation.
In Short-PEOPLE OF FAITH MUST NOW STAND AND FIGHT!
Robert Godwin Sr. May he Rest in Peace!
