For those of you who found my old posts on Alfred George's Conservative Estimate blog to be interesting, I thought you might like to know that Mr. George is starting a new series of blog posts today. The purpose of the new series will be to show how all the really intransigent problems in current events have their roots in the seriously perverted notions that underlie modern Conservatism.

Mr. George's basic notion is that Conservatism is not a legitimate world view that can be tolerated by decent people. It is an unethical and immoral network of selfish beliefs that prop up self-interested behavior, which in turn harms everyone.

Starting tomorrow, Mr. George will discuss a different pressing problem each day, and trace it back to its origins in the Major Myths of Conservatism.

If you were enjoying his writing when I was relaying it to you, you may want to start visiting his site again today at Conservative Estimate.

Just thought some of you might like to know.

Today he discusses a preliminary difficulty: the fact that conservative Myths have made it difficult to separate work from pay.

Let's see what he's up to after the orange lilts.

Today he explains that, because the baby boom generation is half controlled by the Major Myths of Conservatism and cannot break out of its deadlock between Conservatism and Liberalism, it will be up to the younger generation to free us from Conservatism.

The Fraud of Conservative Myths

by ThePlainThinker

I’m continuing my reporting on the current installment of Conservative Estimate, the recently founded website that is devoted to demolishing Conservatism.

Yesterday Alfred George showed that the Fear which generates all conservative Myths limits our abilities and makes us uncreative individuals.

Today he explains how the Myths intensify the very fears from which they pretend to protect us.

Let’s just wander over the swinging orangey lines for his argument.
