Fan of Obama - Action Diary!

Yup - still think the guy is doing pretty good.  Not perfect but who is?  Trying to take the long view - it's not like it took Bush 70 days to make a mess of the place.

And I want him to succeed.

So I am going out of my comfort zone this weekend and working on the Pledge Project Canvass.

News and notes for the Inauguration.  Possibly a pissed-off free zone?  Please.

Technology meets the Inauguration.

There are several iphone applications available for the inauguration.  Most are mainly countdown clocks with little other information, but the latest is sponsored by a law firm and communications firm which identifies local restaurants and Metro spots.

Hi.  I am going to post Inauguration updates now and again.  This is for information purposes only.  I think Obama made a mistake picking Rick Warren, and I don't agree with his choice.  But I am super excited about going to the Inauguration.  If you are pissed at Obama, I would appreciate you taking the complaints to another diary.  Peace.

This should be fun.  We are making the tip to D.C. for the Inauguration.  We is my husband and a KC Obama staffer.  We are meeting both my sisters and my aunt and uncle.

I am really excited but very nervous about being around that many people.  I am doing as much prep work as possible as to avoid what crowds that I can and truly enjoy the day.

Barack and Me in KC

by aimeeinkc

I have been very busy working on the campaign.  Not only is this campaign different than all the others I have worked in that this is a movement rather than a campaign.  But more importantly, my life has changed drastically since the last campaign where I volunteered.  I am a mother to three through foster care.  I own my own law firm.  Things are drastically different.

But I am working harder than ever before.  I am enthused and buoyed every time I step into a campaign office.
