While still trying to gather enough signatures to get on the California ballot, Nader failed to get the nomination of the Caliornia Peace & Freedom Party. CNN.com has the full story here. It seems the party instead nominated "a jailed American Indian activist."
We're coming up on a few state deadlines for Nader to qualify for the ballot, as you can see at the NY Times site. (Also posted here on dKos front page yesterday).
According to the New York Times, Nader has already been blocked and/or given up in Arizona, Georgia, South Carolina, Oklahoma and Indiana. The only one on this list that will make a difference is Arizona. Depending on which poll you look at, Arizona has moved into the "toss-up" category.
