Apologies for the off-topic post, but I need some advice.
My parents are both retired, and they both use the internet from time to time. Long story short, my mom doesn't like to go downstairs to use my father's computer with the cable modem, and she's talking about getting DSL to get a separate internet hookup on her machine. I try to explain that type of setup is ridiculous, that all they need is a wireless router, but I'm afraid the message isn't getting through.
I hate to see my folks throw away money like that. I'd like to direct them to a specific product, but I don't know which one is easiest for them to use. I have no problem myself using these things, but I don't know if my parents would find it quite so easy to set up a router. I have Netgear equipment in my condo, but I'd like to direct them to something even simpler to use, if such a beast exists. Any suggestions?
