Dear Friends of Open Voting:

Yesterday, I received a call from John Wildemuth, staff writer for the
San Francisco Chronicle. I explained what we have done in San
Francisco to get officials receptive to an open source voting solution.

Today, his article appeared in the Chronicle, "S.F.

supervisors blamed for blocking new voting system." He did not publish anything I said. He mostly presented the point of view of Mayor Newsom. The monied interests are winning today.

Friday i was at the pennsylvania democratic state committee meeting in camp hill Pa. There was a woman = Renee George Martin Who shared the following

(special assitant for legislative affairs for the commonwealth of Pennsylvania)

They were holding a meeting with over 300 hundred Pa. democrats in attendence. She spoke about The USA fighting Iraq due to Sadam Husein selling oil in euro's versus dollars. She also mentioned Iran was doing the same and this was the reason Bush wants to attack Iran. She also mentioned that Pemex was the Mexican petroleum company that was altering its sales to america

She said Mexico's petroleum corporation would only sell america oil for 7 more years. She said they need it for their future use.

She said Mexico's "Pemex" is our number 2 supplier. She said Canada was our number 1 supplier. She said Brazil and two other countries also sold their oil in euro's. She said if all oil producing countries sold their oil in euro's that america would collaspe. She said china owns billions of US dollars as well as the middle east. My question to all is below in the body.

Edwards is continuing to criticize his Democratic rivals for accepting campaign contributions from lobbyists. Both Edwards and Obama refuse to accept money from federally-registered lobbyists, and today, Edwards sent Obama a letter requesting he join Edwards in calling on all Democratic candidates to do the same.

Ok everyone lets get serious. This is not a blog to divide candidates. This is about reality.

We all have heard last Month that Bush says we are close to being attacked again here in the U. S. A.

I just read the 9-11 commission report.

On page 397 at the bottom you will read about their concern with A.Q. Khan

wiki him and see who he is and how he is a nuclear scientist from pakistan.

He had been put down for a while but recently after Musharif lost control of the fired judge A.Q.Khan was loosed and is now a real threat to continuing doing his work.

Barack Obama understands what is going on and has inside information that we are not privy too. Barack is speaking out about concerns that are important to us all. Bush would love another attack here in the USA right before the next election. Who suffers? We all do! And the people who get bombed with one of A.Q.Khans bombs.
So this thread is not about ego's and attitudes please do research. This is very important. We need to alert americans to what is going on.

Now this was not what many expected to hear from Barack. Especially after coming out on top after the Clinton/Obama fued.

To me it tells me Barack has decided that letting the Pakistan people know what is going on and by making it public
(which to many may have hurt Barack in the primaries)
that the future president is willing to help with 5 billion dollars in aid to that region. This is important because they do need funding for stability. Barack knows that much has been lost due to all the funds going to the war in Iraq. This i am sure hurts Barack. He knows Bush had a chance at doing great things in afghanistan and Pakistan but that was detored with the Iraq war.

I know, this was a shock to me, a supporter, to see his statements about invading Pakistan, but now that i have read the "full report", i am proud of Barack, for doing whats right, versus just trying to win an election with great polls.

I can imagine how torn Barack was during the last week after the Clinton/Obama skuffle and sitting in on this MAJOR REPORT on pakistan

. He had Cliton telling him he was niave and then he was listening to the statements about Pakistan in his senate foreign relations hearings.
