Yes BOLD prediction, here are some of my reasons for why I think Kerry is going to win this election.
Aside from the possibility that Kerry has more royal blood than Bush, which seems to be a determining factor for the Presidency according to http://www.burkes-peerage.com/press_release4.htm yes, I follow that stuff, call me a conspiracy theorist or whatever... but it's hard to argue with a 100% 100 year track record. But that is not the real reason why I think Kerry will win.
- I think it's safe to say that there is not a single Gore voter who now plans to vote for W, and if so there is always a black sheep in the family.
- Little known fact but most of the undecideds are Bush voters from 2000. I think these are Repugs that actually have a conscience and cannot wholly accept the daily murder of innocent people in their name. But I am not sold on these undecideds and I think the Kerry camp should not waste too many resources on these undecideds. I watched a focus group from Missouri on C-SPAN and these idiots drove me crazy, one guy, we'll call him Howard was asked if Kerry won or did well in the debate (paraphrasing), would it change his mind about Kerry or make him more likely to vote for Kerry. He said "no". And one woman when asked to give a one word description about Bush, She said "Honest", needless to say I was beside myself.
So much for so-called undecided (focus group), these are just people seeking attention, enough said. Sen. Kerry, "rally your base and get new voters"!!!
- Just from reading on this board, people are talking about how they helped a registered a new voter or people who have not voted in years are mad as hell and are ready to vote W. out of office. I am sure Dems are outnumbering Reps.
- If the Kerry camp stops wasting time with focus groups and start talking to real people who are genuinely interested in the issues and the people who want him to fight back against W. and the Rgiht-wingers to take our country back. (See number 2)
Aside: based on his performance lately, maybe he is tossing those focus groups aside and going after his base and the new voters.
5. 9/11 and Iraq War- Although it's still social taboo to intimate ~whispering~ that just maybe Bush and his Cabal allowed 9/11 to happen and use it as justification for uh... maybe the Iraq war, remember the drum beats against Saddam after 9/11,
People are angry about both events. I have met countless people, who are angry with Bush about 9/11 and now the Iraq War. I know there are some who refuse to believe that our gov't would intentionally allow this to happen but when you put questions to them about Norad's reaction that day, Bush's pet goat performance, what happened to the black boxes and how do you explain WTC 7 falling down so easily, the list goes on and on, but that's for another thread...., they quickly want to change the subject or simply sit there looking stunned.
Iraq War- simply put, we traded one CIA agent (oops I meant dictator-Saddam) for another CIA agent Allawi and the world continues to turn except this time it's costing not just Iraqis' lives but young Americans as well.
6. Finally, IMHO, the Establishment feels at a little exposed by the Bush Administration, he has taken things too far and Kerry can put on the good cop exterior so they can contiunue their dealings. Too many people are sniffing around and at least half of the electorate is getting wiser. Don't get me wrong, I want Kerry to win, but he is a member of the Establishment and he is a Bonesman. He has to win, remember Dean....(Bush has become too unruly and uncontrollable or maybe he is still freaked out from 9-11, I wonder how he sleeps at night, sorry for the digression.) I am just curious, does elder Bonesmen take precedence over the younger ones, remember Kerry graduated from Yale earlier than Bush.
So what do you guys think, am I getting close?
"[Update]" Adding to number 4, the Nader voters of 2000, are going to come back into the fold and voting for Kerry.
