I have been wondering for a while now, how election night will play out.
Three of the biggest prize in the EC could be decided in Kerry's favor before the polls in other states are closed. (OH(20), PA(21), NY(31))
What kind of effect will it have on other states in the central time zones like MO, WI, MN, MI, IA or FL for that matter?
IMHO, it would seem to have a snowball effect. Let's face it, politics are all about perception and if it is perceived that Kerry has won 2 of the big 3 battleground states already, will Repugs decide to stay home? Therefore, parlaying Kerry's perceived OH and PA success into a squeaker win in Florida and if OH and PA goes Kerry's way early, Dems may pull it out in Western States like CO, NV and NM.
At the very least, it will be a late night because some of Kerry's key states are CA (55), OR (7), WA (11).
This time factor could also work against Kerry in the same manner, thus underlying the importance of OH and PA.
