President Bush Unveils Bold Social Security/Anti-Terror Plan
Feb. 3, 2005 | WASHINGTON -- Just one day after his State of the Union Addresss, President Bush annouced the Patriotic Retirement And Vital Democracies Attainment Act, which he plans to make the focal point of his bold agenda.
"The enemies of freedom are determined to stop the spread of democracy," said the President during a brief press conference on the White House lawn, "Meanwhile, Social Security is in need of wise and effective reform, the American people want to take ownership of their retirement."
Under the PRAVDA Act, Americans over the age of 65 will begin "Post-Retirement Service" in United States Military opperations in Syria and Iran.
