Hi all. Forgive the brevity, I don't have any analysis but would like someone who has experience looking at polls to comment on the methodology. This is the poll that is used to promote the narrative that white women proportionately do not favor Obama.
I post a few observations from the data from another post I made.
The south is sampled more than any other-South-38, Northeast-18, Midwest-22, West-23%. When asked who they trust to make the right decision on womens' issues Obama is preferred 56-34. They also think he has a better plan for the future 50-38. This poll is weighted, I believe. How does weighting a poll affect it's conclusions?
And I don't understand how they arrive at their own conclusions. Read it for yourself. http://ap-gfkpoll.com/...
Thanks.
PS-Does anyone know offhand who GFK is?
