Justica for all
Greetings All,
This is indeed an introduction. I've been reading DailyKos for some time, but I'm only now beginning to contribute my writing. I am president of International Bill of Rights, A Geneva Switzerland based nonprofit organization that is also a nonprofit in the state of California. We are building upon the legacy of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other documents such as regional bills rights like the European Convention on Human Rights. We support a set of fundamental rights for all people in all countries.
As is evident from the issues that come up daily in the United States and abroad, enforcement of human rights is crucial -- it is not enough to just proclaim them, we must be able to go to court and talk with a judge so that she/he can issue an order to enforce them.
To this end, International Bill of Rights (IBOR) asks everyone the same three questions about the document:
Will you read it?
Will you sign it?
Will you share it?
Through this diary, I will write to explain why it's worthwhile to answer yes to all three of these questions as one small step for activists in all countries to take. Hopefully you will also submit a picture when you sign (you don't have to) so that people around the world can put a face to the movement that is underway. I also hope to stimulate dialogue regarding an International Bill of Rights and gain advice about to gather signatures in all countries.

Thanks and best, Kirk
