MSNBC has called the Puerto Rico primary for Hillary Clinton. This is a territory that she was expected to carry. With 14% percent of precincts reporting, Clinton leads Bernie Sanders 65% to 34%.
60 delegates are at stake. As usual, the final distribution of those delegates isn’t clear at this point. Based on ABC's projections Clinton now needs fewer than 30 delegates to secure the nomination.
In the 2008 Puerto Rico Democratic Primary, Hillary Clinton defeated Barack Obama 68% to 31%.
