What the Trump administration’s barbaric family separation policy has also done, aside from terrorize thousands of migrant children and their parents, is to also expose a whole bunch of “family values” Republicans for the frauds they are. Case in point, Ohio’s Jim Jordon.
Oh sure, his website claims that “our families are the foundation of our country.” Maybe he does believe that, but it clearly comes with terms and conditions, because during a CNN interview, Jordan didn’t appear to know—or even care—that Donald Trump’s sham executive order does nothing to reunite the over 2,000 kids separated from their parents:
“What else do you want?” he really asked, clueless or uncaring about what his party is doing to kids. “What else do you want?” How about every single legislator complicit in traumatizing families for years to come to quit or get booted out, starting from the very top and including Jordan.
