This isn't the level of nonsense myth of "Rome fell because of gay marriage" or whatever.
But, there are people even here who believe the b.s that Perot swung the election to Clinton.
The reality is that exit polling at the time showed that approximately 35% of Perot voters would have voted for Clinton, 35% would not have voted and 30% would have voted for Bush.
The existance of the myth was due to Republicans trying to suggest Bill Clinton was an illegitimate President, that his win was a fluke.
It's kind of ironic that after spending years propogating this nonsence, they were quick to say "get over it" over a genuine stolen election.
