Alright. I'm convinced this is a game the Rethugs have sprung on the left blogosphere.
And I should preface this by saying the husband and I polished off a bottle of wine with dinner and my tolerance has been going down in inverse correlation with the age of the Bush Administration.
But I'm wondering. Is "Nedra Pickler" a pseudonym for Andrew Sullivan? Look at the first name: "Nedra" "Andrew"--you take out the W and you're left with an anagram of Andrew. And we all know we've got too much "W" these days. The "Pickler" I'll just leave to your imagination.
I ask, because she/he has struck again (courtesy of Atrios):
Nedra, it appears, feels that Holy Joe has been unfairly snubbed by Gore. And that that is worthy of the AP's resources. She writes a scintillating article about how wonderful this has been for Holy Joe's campaign (did her editors not clue into the fact that she was in need of remedial writing with her last byline?).
The reason I think Nedra is fake is that this seems, so obviously, to be an attempt to sow discontent among Democrats. She details all the ways that Holy Joe is capitalizing on being snubbed to raise money and hackles of people offended by Gore's crasness.
Nedra seems to have no sense of irony (unless, of course, I'm right, and this is all an elaborate joke):
Campaigning in New Hampshire Thursday, Lieberman said Dean would return the Democratic Party to the days before the Clinton administration, "when we had a lot of people in our base who were excited but weren't winning elections."
Does Holy Joe remember when the Democrats lost the House? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that occurred during Clinton's administration.
Help me out. Is there any evidence that Nedra is for real????
