Anyone heard of T.R. Reid? He (or she, I guess) has a piece in the Washington Post today, and he's earning his salary the hard way: whoring. Here's the climax paragraph.
"Dean responds negatively -- in fact, angrily -- to the suggestion that his campaign is driven by anger. "This campaign is not about anger. It's about hope," he said testily this weekend as he hopscotched from the heartland to Dixie to California in pursuit of caucus votes and contributions. And yet the "hope" he is offering, he told the crowds, is that "we can give George Bush a one-way bus ticket back to Crawford, Texas."
Well, I'm glad to see you're being paid by whoever footed the bill for the coverage of Al Gore's campaign in 2000. Thank you, media.
By the way, anyone care to comment on the fact that Tim Russert sat on the Saddam capture story to allow the administration to take its time? Apparently he was cozied up to at a Washington holiday party by George Tenet. Glad we know where Tim Russert's been sleeping around. When Tim Russert says he's not partisan, he neglects to mention the fact that he regularly sleeps with Republicans for money.
