I know a lot of people have problems with Andrew Sullivan, but I find him pretty fascinating, and often thoughtful. And he's without a doubt widely read, so it's kind of important to track where he's at.
Anyway, on his blog today, Andy seems to declare that he's definately not voting for Bushie in 2004.
(money quotes after the cut)
The post I'm referring to is a response to a post by Jonah Goldberg on
The Corner. Jonah calls Andrew on an article he wrote for The Advocate that seemed to suggest he was done with the current administration. Jonah was confused as to why this position wasn't made clear on The Daily Dish.
So, After Andy goes through his usual blah blah I support the wars, I want a fiscally conservative President stuff, he comes to a section titled "The Marriage Thing." And he drops these lovely quotes:
"[No] self-respecting gay person could vote for Bush; and I consider myself a self-respecting gay person."
"I would lack integrity if I were to endorse [Bush]."
"My only dilemma now is whether to support Kerry or sit this one out."
If only he'd be more clear about this when striving to defend Booosh and the clan.
