There has been too many things on the news that have been sensationalized to lend support to the GOP and in particular Bush. So, I find myself arguing today.
The first thing is about Sandy Berger. So the guy took notes and took his notebook home, as well as copies of classified documents. Yes, this is bad, but what motive would he have for doing this intentionally? None that I can think of, and the Justice Department is certainly not investigating him for espionage or anything like that. The guy made a mistake, but nothing to crucify him over.
The second is the claim that nukes have been found in Iraq. If this were true, it would somehow validate Bush's war, supposedly. I'm willing to bet that we never hear of this again by the end of this week, but the American public believes it to be true even when it's not.
Next, the head of Paul Johnson was found. Why aren't we bombing the Saudis yet? That's rhetorical, by the way.
The last thing is that I saw an article on CNN talking about how Jenna Bush stuck her tongue out at the press from a car. It's twice on the CNN front page, once under "More News" and once under "The Morning Grind." Is this really news? What's next,a special called "George W. Bush: Legacy of a breather" which talks about how his lungs astonishingly expand and retract due to his amazing diaphragm, allowhing blood to be filled with oxygen to go to his cells?
Oh, one more I forgot was about John Edwards' brother having an outstanding warrant for drunk driving. Bush and Cheney have been arrested for drunk driving before, which seems more pertinant to their characters than the fact that the brother of John Edwards was drunk driving 11 years ago.
Anyway, all of this stuff is pissing me off. Anyone want to fight?
