Hi everybody,
We've got a good progressive columnist on the New Hampshire Seacoast, and his column's in limbo. I need your help to get that column back in print.
It's called
The Culling, by D. Allan Kerr. He writes mostly about politics, but from an interesting POV (he's a part-time lobsterman). His columns are a welcome relief from the Bush-toadying we usually get from New Hampshire papers.
Unfortunately I've learned that his paper, the Portsmouth Herald, has put the column on hold and is trying to figure out if they want to keep it or not. I have no evidence that this is part of the vast right-wing media conspiracy, but nonetheless it'd be a shame to lose the Culling, and I'd appreciate it if you'd drop the paper a line on Mr. Kerr's behalf.
Please feel free to forward the info on, post it on your blog, whatever. The more we can do to help, the better.
