On Morning Edition today, NPR issued a sort-of apology for
Fox News commentator Juan Williams repeating the Bush lie about the "Global Test" bullsh*t Tuesday as fact.
(as mentioned by me
here)
So far, so good. But they then had a guest commentator on who essentially said that because Kerry said what he said, it was okay for Bush to lie about it.
That commentator was Robert Kagan, a senior associate at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. Sounds fair and balanced doesn't it? After all, you can read the words "International Peace" and feel good about this guy.
But guess what? Robert Kagan is also the co-founder (with William Kristol) of one Project for the New American Century. He is also a regular contributer to the Weekly Standard. Earlier in his career, he was an official with Reagan's State Department. Read all about him here
Oooops!! Busted again, NPR!
You know what to do.
