that he doesn't even bother with simple things like reality anymore?
Excerpts from his NY Post Op-Ed piece:
PRESIDENT Bush's positions on the issues aired in the debate last night are so sound and John Kerry's so contradictory that the Republican could not help but win the debate. But, despite the contradictions of his positions, Kerry showed Americans that he looks and acts like a commander-in-chief and someone we could trust with power.
...
So Bush could not but win the debate. Kerry has taken such awkward and obviously wrong positions that Bush had to emerge as last night's winner.
Seriously, did he watch the same debate the rest of us watched? Clearly Senator Kerry and the President have differences in their political philosophies, but Morris acts as if the Senator said nothing of any substance, and nothing with any basis in fact.
I'm afraid I'll have to vote for a candidate who at least attempts (considering the time limitations) to explain his plans and policies than one who says things like:
hard work (President Bush repeated this 10 times)
working hard (President Bush said this twice)
wrong war, wrong time, wrong place (President Bush repeated this 6 times)
instead of actually discussing the differences he has with Senator Kerry. When asked tough questions the Senator responded with eloquence. When asked similarly tough questions the President responds by saying it's "hard work".
Hmmm, yeah I would imagine being President is hard work, but you still haven't explained your ideas or plans to the American public.
The President is "sound on the issues", my ass. Morris needs to go back to sucking toes - sucking as a pundit just isn't cutting it anymore!
