Bush IS a near-basket case; I realized that fully when I played back parts of my tapes of the last two debates frame-by-frame. No well person could make that sequence of expressions - a fact that one can fully appreciate only when those sequences are seen at full resolution, one frame at a time. The live video, and especially the streaming video from the web just doesn't show it.
I want to put together a slide show of two critical pieces from the debates and put them up on the web, hopefully to be seen as widely as possible between now and the election.
However, I only have VHS recorded from broadcast.
Does anyone have digitally received and recorded video of the last two debates from which they could send me excerpts that I can make my slide show from?
The particular clips are "Furious George" from debate #2, and "Heh-heh-heh, I sure hope it's not the Administration's fault" from the 3d debate.
The clip I need from #2 starts about 30:14 in from the initial "Good evening", where Bush stands ("I gotta respond"), and goes to about 30:55, when Kerry stands to respond to Bush's diatribe.
The clip from #3 starts about 31:45 in from the initial "Good evening", where the question to Bush, "Health insurance costs have risen" begins, and goes to about 32:15, through the phrase "There's a systemic problem".
