Let this stew for a couple of days folks and see what happens. It's like when your little brother jumps out from behind the door and scares you: first your heart goes pitter-patter, then you want to pound him black and blue. Once people shake off the willies just from seeing Dr. Doom in their living rooms, they're gonna get pissed. Don't let the spin doctors redirect that anger. People need to be shouting in the streets:
Why is Osama bin Laden still out there messing with us?!
More:
Bush is weak. Bush is a liar. Bush let us down. And he wants us to let him lead again? He screwed up. Big time. Bush let OBL walk.
Now's the time to roll some tape, like the
"Whatever it takes . . . " Bush's post 9/11 speech followed by
"Osama doesn't really worry me anymore . . . "
and then
Why did Bush want to go to war in Iraq? He said "Weapons of Mass Destruction . . . "
Followed by 380 tons of RDX delivered into the hands of the terrorists, gift wrapped by Bush. "If that's true, why didn't Bush have any plans to guard the largest weapons depot in Iraq?
Question: So why did Bush take us to war in Iraq, and let OBL walk? What does he hope to gain by a war with Iraq?
Cut to Cheney/Haliburton. Headlines of billions of dollars in contracts awarded under questionable conditions to Haliburton. Intercut with Cheney growling "America will be attacked . . . " and more headlines of billions going to Haliburton.
Close with the question: Who's paying the bill for Bush's War? Montage of wounded soldiers, bodies, dead Iraqis. Parents and wives and kids saying goodbye to soldiers shipping out. Follow with lines of unemployed, and the working poor. Take it all the way into the home, fade out on child playing alone.
Fade in to last frame, latest OBL tape playing in the background. Voice over: "Why is this man still running free? Ask your president."
