I wish the press would start being curious about Bush's reaction were he to lose. (It's just not very balanced to of him say things like, "I won't lose." Categorically.) We should encourage people to think about, well, what if he does lose? Will he have a psychological breakdown during his concession speech? Will he once and for all admit his father was right about Iraq and his (relatively) moderate stance on domestic issues?
The American people love personal drama, especially mighty-have-fallen stories.
