The Miami Herald did a manual recount of 3 northern Florida counties. They sent reporters to three counties where the results were suspicious. That is, the voters were primarily registered as Democrat, but, they voted overwhelmingly for Bush. Must be a conspiracy, right? The Herald's conclusion: No conspiracy. Note that two officials stated that there was no way that people would vote for a liberal from Mass. Also, frustrating, that they attribute Bush's invasion of Iraq as an "honest mistake" and overlooked it to focus on other issues. Guess that's the values thing again. On the other hand, it's good to know that the votes were counted and were essentially accurate and that the Herald was willing to investigate.
