This story doesn't explain why if the results of the referendum were screwed by the electronic machine, the results of all other races -- including the presidential -- weren't somehow affected as well.

Did the reporter even ask the question? Obviously, the machines used for the referendum were also used in the presidential and senate races. Why were those races not similarly affected?
