The average conservative American is a foreign creature to most people here. They believe strongly in unquestioning obedience. That used to be their strength, but now it's a weakness.
You see, Republicans don't like this administration either, because they don't seem to do things conservatively.
They think it's because the Republicans are too moderate. Time to show 'em how the left does business...

Alot of KOSsacks toss around the term 'neo-con' as if it's a comeback to the dreaded 'L'-word.
Even people who have brushed up on their neo-con history have largely missed the boat on the unique opportunity they have brought about.

The differences between the neos and paleo-cons are not a matter of degree, but rather an ideology chasm. The Republican party actually represents two entirely separate parties under one banner.
And they don't like each other.
The neo-cons are sort of an accidental trojan horse. These guys used to be extremely liberal once upon a time. They have brought the worst facets of left-thinking along with them to the right. And they are in control.
How does this help us? The average Republican is Libertarian, while Neos are actually Authoritarian.
The average Republican thinks that all these differences stem from the fact that Dubya is too moderate (I shit you not). It's easy enough to dispel that myth by action.
If we play up everything Republicans hate about Neos (fiscal responsibility, smaller government, personal freedom, avoiding imperialism) we will inherit the Republican support base as our own.
They have infiltrated and unlocked the gates. It's up to us to march in and finish them off.
It all begins in the mainstream media, when we start talking about what we hate about the neo-cons, and ideals we share with the paleo-cons.
We begin backing up those words with deeds.
We very publicly initiate legislation to cap federal defecit spending.
We very publicly initiate legislation to protect states' rights.
We initiate legislation to simplify tax code before W does it .
We initiate legislation to wrest control of church matters from the state and back into the hands of the church.
We attempt to launch an investigation into media bias, and then loudly complain when they refuse to do it.
In short, (padding here, hehe) we start taking a proactive role in moving things that sound like what conservatives want, but actually enact compromise to get us some of what we want. The paleo-cons will be publicly forced to join in, while the neo-cons will be left scrambling.
We publicly and loudly attack the Republican party as hypocritical to their own constituency.
Come 2008, the Republican voters will be sick of their own leadership, and that's when we nail 'em.
We run a moderate-left candidate, running on a well-polished Libertarian platform.
When we attack the BushCo administration, we do so on the terms that resonate with Moderates.
If we play our cards right, and if the Republicans attempt to do what they say they're gonna do, America won't elect a Republican dog catcher for the next 20 years.
It all starts with research. Read up on your Pat Buchanan.
