Well, it's time to come clean. I have been outed as a troll. So I'll confess, and will tell my whole story here.
In early 2003, Karl Rove called me to infiltrate "this blog thing that seemed to rally liberals". Well, when Karl calls, I oblige. So, I started reading a few of them. I mostly stuck with one called "DailyKos". It was a bit primitive, but I was told that the software for it (MovableType) wasn't so hot. I laid low, and didn't post many comments at first. Aside from DailyKos, I also infiltrated the Dean blog, where I successfully posed as a Dutch reader called "Frank in A'dam".
To make my cover more complete, I even started a relationship with an
an American Dean supporter, and introduced her to DailyKos too.
Time passed. Karl told me the Dean blog lost much of its relevancy after Dean dropped out, so I mostly focused on DailyKos. I started commenting more, and even gained the valued prize of "trusted user status".
To complete my cover, I even went to a Kerry rally in Albuquerque and took pictures. I also canvassed for Kerry in Albuquerque.
On election day, I even posted a comment saying that something fishy was going on in Florida.
My cover was complete. Karl called me and told me it was time to drop the big one. I boldly stepped forward and suggested that hard evidence was needed before crying "voter fraud" on this thread.
Well, sadly, some heroes stepped in and courageously outed me as a troll, or rated me as such, like here and here. The results were devastating. I lost my trusted user status (paging Austin Powers, I lost my mojo!). So I decided to come clean and confess.
Well, I guess my work here is done. My carefully planned strategy backfired. Karl is not very happy with me, and says that my next job will probably be cleaning up after the family dog in the White House, or possibly cleaning up the sink in Jenna's room the morning after she's been out partying.
