Watching the rev on c-span and I gotta say, whatever his past, whatever his motivation, it's good he's running, telling it like it is, talking about the system, the media's role, the party's history, how none of us on the left should stop demanding that the party represent us. In so many ways, he and Howard and Dennis really are on the same side, saying what no one else will. The longer this thing goes on, the better the chances that bits and pieces of their populist/lefty messages will really stick. If these people had been as visible in 2000, Nader might not have been necessary. I hope this thing drags on until doomsday, because otherwise, we all know that the party will pretend that there is no left wing and will continue in its servile and unavailing collaboration.
