Just got (like a bunch of you, I bet) an email from Moveon asking to support financially Lloyd Doggett's campaign. He's one of the Texas Democrats who's been left districtless by Delay. But he now changed districts, and if I understand correctly, he's running in an overwhelming Dem district.
His opponent in the primaries (March 9th) is District Judge Leticia Hinojosa. Why would Moveon take sides in a primary where the district is safely Democratic anyway? This (TX-25) is not one of MrLiberal's top 30 races.
I'm not just criticizing Moveon here. If I'm wrong (and I probably am, since I'm in IA and know zippo about TX) please let me know. If Doggett deserves the money, then he should get it.
Otherwise, I'm getting worried about Moveon. Are these people focused enough?
