Most of the pro-net/grassroots, pro-Dean posters, such as myself, have moved on to other items where we share a common interest with other Kossacks. Things like auditable, verified voting and moving Dems into House and Senate seats are things that are good for all Dems. But a few of the 'Dean-bashers' just can not seem to let it go.
What was most interesting to me was to see the high response numbers generated by an attack post on the Good Doctor after Kerry has clinched the Dem Nomination. It would seem to me that the best thing for Dem Party unity would be for the anti-Kerry people to shut up! (which I have pretty much done) and for the anti-Dean people to shut up! (Which the Dean-bashers have largely done with a few notable exceptions).
As an avid net/grassroots Dem, I applaud the Good Doctor for going on Hardball and discussing fundraising for Kerry. I applaud even more the position Dean took on keeping his list (with my name on it) within DemocracyforAmerica. Trust me, for many of the anti-Torricelli wing of the Democratic Party -- it is better this way. Like any un-easy truce to face a common enemy (Bush and the Rethugs) it is best to be diplomatic... Slackers.
