Of course, only diehard pro-choicers voted against it.
Personally, I have mixed feelings. After all, a criminal who assaults a woman and takes the life of a fetus is robbing the family of something wonderful.
On the other hand, it's chipping away at the rights of women to have abortions. The logic is, if preventing a pregnancy is akin to murder, then all abortion is murder.
I would probably vote for this legislation, but only if it contained legislation affirming the Row v. Wade decision.
