Recently I have been
posting a lot asking how much we can really read into the recent Rasmussen swings in our direction (
head-to-head and
approval), given the swings in
party preference.
Good news!
After bringing up this issue, apparently enough Kossacks have been emailing Rasmussen that they put this as the third paragraph today on their main tracking page:
Many people have written and asked if the Kerry bounce over the past week could be attributed to an oversampling of Democrats. The answer is no. The percentage of Democrats in our sample has remained constant.
This is great: (1) The Rasmussen trend is "real", and (2) look how powerful a few coordinated emails are from Kossacks!
