George Bush's brain is an evil computer. This fact was betrayed today, when the limits of Bush's Random Praise Generator program were
laid bare, for all the world to see:
"Prime Minister Koizumi is one of my best friends in the international community. I know the prime minister well.
"I trust his judgment. I admire his leadership."
Let's rewind the tape on that:
"Prime Minister Koizumi is one of my best friends in the international community. I know the prime minister well.
"I trust his judgment. I admire his leadership."
Trust His Judgment
Hmmmmm. Sounds awful familiar.
"Dr. Rice is not only a brilliant person, she is an experienced person, she is a good manager, I trust her judgment, America will find that she is a wise person," Bush told a news conference in Austin.
Well, just two occurrences, must be a coincidence, right?
Tony Blair is a friend. He's a friend of the American people, he's a friend of mine. I trust his judgment and I appreciate his wisdom.
Four times, anyone?
Negroponte will have daily access to Bush as his primary intelligence briefer. "I trust his judgment," Bush said.
How about a fifth? ("Now there's something I could go for," thinks George)
We'll continue to work together to make the world more safe and free. Today, we discussed the Korean Peninsula; we discussed my commitment to move the Middle Eastern peace process forward; we discussed a lot of key issues. I was comfortable in so doing because I value the advice of John Howard. I trust his judgment, and I appreciate his friendship.
He can mix it up a bit, though. He can do it in the third person :
Of course, he's talking about a fine Texas woman named Priscilla Owen, who's being busted for political reasons. She's been elected statewide here in Texas. People know here and trust her judgment and, yet, they're playing politics with her. Thank you for remembering that.
Well, we can all take solace in the fact that none of us have any questions about Dumbya as a judge of character.
Admire His Leadership
The next phrase which points to a glitch in the Random Praise Generator, here applied to U2-frontman Bono:
"He is a man of depth and a great heart who cares deeply about the impoverished folks on the continent of Africa. And I admire his leadership on the issue," Bush added.
Someone needs to adjust the backpack, because here it is again:
I look forward to seeing President Wad on his home turf, because I admire him, I admire his leadership.
Here's George paying tribute to the Secretary General of NATO:
It's my honor to welcome the Secretary General of NATO to the Oval Office. This is the first meeting I've had since my reelection with a leader from overseas. I'm proud you're the person, Secretary General, because, first of all, I've got a very close personal relationship. I've come to admire his leadership and his fortitude. And secondly, my nation is committed to a strong and vibrant NATO.
Please, can someone appropriate a few billion dollars to fix the Random Praise Generator?
