I was concerned about the diary that was posted yesterday that stated that Morrison didn't want Dean to come and campaign for him. I know for a fact that many of the Dean people have volunteered for Morrison. I met Morrison at the Houston rally. He was a definite supporter and gave a rousing speech. The campaign itself has asked Dean to come here. Here is Richard's response.

And one of his campaign coordinators.
Hi everyone.
Thanks for coming to our site today to hear our side of the story.
I'm Melissa Taylor, the volunteer coordinator of the Richard Morrison for Congress campaign. I am also a Dean supporter. STAUNCH. I would not be in this position today if it were not for Howard Dean. I first met Richard Morrison while I was giving a speech to the Galveston County Democrats Club, trying to receive that group's endorsement for Dean. Richard was there and encouraged us to stay involved with local politics. After his speech, I started volunteering for his campaign. A few months later, I joined the staff.
I can assure all the worried Deaniacs out there that Richard Morrison has a great deal of respect for Howard Dean. We talk about it quite a bit actually. Richard knows how excited I am to see the Governor again here in Houston, to see my fellow Deaniacs again, and to work alongside DFA to elect Richard Morrison to Congress. I could not work for any democratic candidate that doesn't realize that astoundingly positive impact Howard Dean has had on American politics and so many indivduals' lives. My life is markedly different than it was a year ago. I have Howard Dean to thank.
Signed,
