I sent a number of comments to Kerasotes Theaters to get Fahrenheit 9-11 shown their. After learning of their decision, I wrote them to thank them. This was their reply:
Original Comment:
I am writing to thank you for having the courage to show Michael Moore's film "Fahrenheit 9-11" despite the pressure to the contrary. I am also writing to inform you that based on this decision I am planning on attending your theater to see the film in its opening weekend. Since you opened this theater in 1998 I have enjoyed many movies there, and based on this bold decision, I will gladly return. Thank you again for supporting free expression, and the free exchange
of ideas through film.

Regarding: Film Selection
Thank you for taking the time to send us your words of support regarding the documentary "Fahrenheit 9/11."
Regardless if we agree or disagree with Michael Moore it is important for a company that believes in open discourse and diversity to allow our customers to make up their own mind, especially at a time when our soldiers in Iraq are
giving their lives to promote democratic ideals.
No government or corporate entity should decide which films Americans should be prevented from seeing.

While I get the impression that this guy is not happy about it, I am pleased to see that there are still companies out their that will do this. (Maybe he is just so sick of hearing about it, given that they are being innundated right now, and this was likely a canned response)
