I don't know what to say about the accuracy of this, but a friend of Kim Son-il, the Korean man recently beheaded in Iraq, has provided the press with emails sent in the last days befor Mr. Kim was captured.
Interestingly (or tragically, I suppose, since we know he could speak Arabic and must have shared his opinions with his captors), Mr. Kim was quite disgusted with what he had seen of the Americans, noting that he had really come to appreciate what it means to be on the losing side of life after witnessing what he'd seen during his experiences in Iraq. In particular, he notes the barbarity of the American troops, telling his friend that he'll bring home pictures of atrocities committed by American troops that will "make your skin crawl."
He saves his strongest opprobrium, however, for two men in particular: "I'll probably never forget the barbarism of the Americans, especially Bush and Rumsfeld."
For those that can read Korean, the article can be accessed here.
Korean "netizens" are quick to the punch of course and have provided their own riposte to Mr. Bush:
((rough translation - caption on the left has Bush pleading: "Please save me! Please save me! I've done wrong! I'll never do it again...Please forgive me." The comment on the right says: "Bush - you are the one who should have to be here."))
