Japan Caucus finished a few hours ago. Biggest Caucus turnout before today, going back many years, was 50 people. We expected 80. 156 came, plus NYTimes and Japanese TV. Amazing event, made me proud to be American. Will post more stories about the ins and outs, but the great news is:
Undecided: 29, Kerry: 51, Dean: 69!!!!!!!!
The Kerry folks tried the electability meme, but many undecideds weren't having it, and they voted with their hearts and minds, not their fear. Plus, savvy, experienced Dean people, and pragmatic Kucinich folks, helped it all to happen.
It was beautiful. I'm very tired, can't post on B4A at the moment (overload), I'm sure other blogs will get posts from our incredible Tokyo4Dean group. just wanted to post this, er, first.
