After several months of registration difficulties I'm finally able to post a comment. Since this is my first, please be kind. I'd like to explore an election theft scenario: Kerry wins Florida (or another state using electronic voting) by a few thousand votes. The Repubs cry fowl and demand a recount. Since there is no paper trail, a recount can't be done; the issue works it's way to the Supreme Court which rules that the integrity of the vote cannot be verified so the state's results are null and void. Kerry loses these electoral college votes and the election.
