I am absolutely LOVING all this discussion about "ancient" fonts and formats. As someone who used a Royal as an undergrad, did my Masters on a Wang magtape, completed my Ph.D. on an IBM PC using a souped-up V20 CPU (8 MHZ!!), printed out on an Okidata dot matrix, successively using WordStar, MultiMate, XyWrite, Nota Bene, Framemaker, Frame+SGML, emacs, and MS-Word, watching everyone scrambling to recreate the not-all-that-distant past is a wonderful object lesson in technoamericana.
I have no doubt the forgery question will be quickly resolved by the combined memories of the aging geek population.
