I have been thinking, and that can be dangerous.
I don't have any problem with boycotts against people like Sinclair who use the media to present blatant falsehoods to try to sway voters. I don't have a problem supporting companies that treat their employees well and that care for the environment.
I do have a problem with boycotting companies simply because their owners and/or executives have political views that I disagree with.
I don't want anyone fired because they have a bumper sticker for a candidate, any candidate. And, boycotts seem to me to be the same thing. I do think companies should be made aware that there can be financial consequences for their actions
It seems to me there should be respect for all views in a democracy. Does anone else have concerns in this area?
